Sophie Kelk is crossing Scotland to raise funds for Veterans Aid.
The 23 year old PR will be running, cycling and kayaking her way across a 106-mile route that includes Loch Ness, Great Glen, Glencoe and Ben Nevis.
“I’m doing it because I’m utterly mad and I love to challenge myself – but also because I’ve seen what a great job this charity does to get Veterans back on their feet after hard times.”
You can find out more about the route and help Sophie by logging on to her Just Giving page and making a donation: http://www.justgiving.com/tacklescotland
She says “Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.”
Sophie works for luxury communications agency LUCHFORD APM who represent clients like Oliver Burns – (http://www.oliverburns.com) – a company that also supports Veterans Aid.
CEO of Veterans Aid Dr Hugh Milroy said “We’re always delighted when large organisations support us, but donations by individuals like Sophie are arguably more inspirational because of the personal effort that goes into them.”
