Veterans Aid is the nations’s one-stop shop for Veterans in Crisis

Last year we provided over 22,000 nights of accommodation, dealt with more than 4,000 calls for help and advice and welcomed more than 600 visitors to our main office.

There are around 4.5 million Veterans in the UK. Around 20,000 men and women leave the Armed Forces and become Veterans every year. A small number of Veterans experience problems in civilian life.

There are more than 2,300 charities dedicated to helping them.

For those in CRISIS Veterans Aid is there… and has been for over 80 years.

VA is the A&E of the Veterans world. It offers a ‘hand up’ not a ‘hand out’ – and has an unparalleled success rate in breaking the cycle of crisis.

Our commitment remains to being a place of hope and reassurance for any member of the 4.5 million-strong British ‘military family’ who is in crisis.
